SoundMap
Sound Map is an experimental music interface. The surfaces of a sculpture can be spotlighted with a laser pointer, which plays a sound in response.Concept
The goal of this experiment was to add an interactive component to a projection mapping. While this prototype is a small scale sculpture, the concept can also be adopted to large scale projections.
Execution
The laser pointer is tracked by a webcam and the program CCV. This prototype is build with the programming language processing and with the help of the libraries toxiclibs und oscP5.
